How to Get a Job in Europe from Bangladesh, Nepal or India — The Real Process
Every day, thousands of workers from Bangladesh, Nepal and India pay agents €1,000 or more for a "guaranteed job in Europe". Many never travel. Many arrive to find the job doesn't exist. Here is the truth: nobody can sell you a job — but the real process is simpler than agents want you to believe.
Step 1 — A real employer must want you first
Everything legal starts with a real employer in Europe who wants to hire a foreign worker. Not an agent, not an "invitation letter seller" — a company with a registered business, a real workplace and a real vacancy. That is why your first job is to find real, open positions — jobs that companies actually advertise.
Step 2 — The employer applies for your work permit
In almost every European country (Poland, Romania, Greece, Serbia, Slovakia…), it is the employer who starts the work-permit process, in their own country, with their own documents. If someone tells you you can buy a work permit without a specific employer — that is a scam.
Step 3 — You apply for the work visa with real documents
Once the permit is approved, you apply for a work visa at the embassy or consulate with: your passport, the employment contract, the permit, and supporting documents. Fees at the embassy are official and small (usually €60–€150) — nothing like the €1,000+ agents charge.
Step 4 — Travel, register, work
After arrival you typically register your residence and sometimes complete medical checks. Your contract, salary and accommodation should match what you signed before traveling. If the employer wants to "change the deal" after you arrive — that is a red flag you can avoid by verifying everything early.
What you actually pay for (and what you never pay for)
- Normal costs: embassy visa fee, translations and notary, medical check, your flight.
- Fair services: help writing a proper CV and applications, document preparation, translation — services with a clear price, delivered to you.
- Never pay: "job guarantee" fees, "invitation letters" for sale, "visa quota reservations". Legitimate employers do not charge workers to hire them.
